About the Role:
This isn't your typical job posting--because this isn't your typical job.
We're looking for a motivated, curious, and hands-on
Project Coordinator
(ages 15-30, per funding requirements) to help lead the charge on creative and operational projects that blend
agriculture, hospitality, event planning, and community engagement
.
You'll be mentored by a senior project manager with 20 years of international experience working with non-profits, government, and Fortune 100 companies. You'll gain hands-on experience, have real impact, and help build one-of-a-kind guest experiences from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the
setup and execution of our Haunted Woods experience
, including building new sets and features
Collaborate on
community outreach and social media content
Support the
planning and coordination
of seasonal projects and guest events
Jump in with
hospitality tasks
, like flipping domes and doing dishes as needed
Lead or assist
farm tours
and guest experiences
Contribute to
landscaping, basic carpentry, and on-site builds
Work both
independently and in a small team environment
Focus on progress over perfection--
B+ work beats no work done
What We're Looking For:
A strong work ethic and follow-through
Willingness to
learn new skills
--especially hands-on tasks like carpentry or event setup
Interest in (or experience with)
power tools or creative builds
Creative energy paired with the
ability to get things done
Bonus: familiarity with social media tools or content creation
Comfort working
outdoors 90% of the time
Availability for
evenings and weekends
, especially in October
Friendly, professional demeanor when engaging with guests and teammates
Eligibility Criteria:
This position is supported by a youth employment grant. To be eligible, applicants must:
Be
between 15 and 30 years old
at the start of employment
Be a
Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection
Be
legally entitled to work in Canada
