Position Overview

We are seeking a

Construction Project Coordinator

with a background in carpentry to join our team. This role is key in ensuring smooth project execution by coordinating materials, trades, schedules, and documentation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on carpentry knowledge paired with strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day coordination of projects. Support project planning, scheduling, and reporting to ensure deadlines are met. Order and track materials, tools, and equipment. Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction documents. Liaise with subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure project needs are met. Monitor project progress and support quality control and safety standards. Provide carpentry expertise when required to support decision-making and problem-solving on site. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting.

Qualifications

Diploma/degree in Construction Management, Carpentry, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction, with carpentry background strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety regulations. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in MS Office and construction software (experience with Procore or similar is an asset). Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm Friday: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
