We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our carpentry team. The ideal candidate will oversee project timelines, coordinate between teams, and ensure that all project components are executed efficiently. This role requires a solid understanding of construction processes, technical skills, and excellent communication abilities to facilitate seamless project delivery. Experience with blueprint reading, construction estimating, and various trade skills such as masonry, carpentry, and electrical work is highly desirable.
Duties
Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to align project goals
Review blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accuracy and feasibility
Assist in procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project execution
Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays proactively
Prepare detailed reports on project status for stakeholders
Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes throughout all phases of the project
Facilitate communication between clients, contractors, and team members to maintain clarity on project scope and expectations
Support in estimating costs and resources needed for upcoming projects
Experience
Proven experience in carpentry coordination or related roles within the building industry
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings is preferred but not required
Past hands-on experience or knowledge with , carpentry (including woodworking), flooring installation, plumbing, electrical work, or restoration projects is a plus
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively across teams and clients
