Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop monitor budgets
- Conduct site visits and gather necessary information reporting purposes
- Organize subcontractor bids and proposals
- Maintain communication with subcontractors and suppliers
- Keep track of project costs throughout the construction process
- Provide cost control recommendations to ensure projects stay within budget

Skills:

- Previous knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
- Experience in using estimating software such as Xactimate
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Requirements:

- Must posses reliable automobile.

- Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
