Role description:




To operate in a team environment with a focus on partnering with Business Unit leadership and Operations team to drive optimal performance. Operating collaboratively with BU controller group in supporting business processes. To assist in the effective management of projects through compliance with company procedures whilst delivering best practice and applying Project Management principles. To assist in ensuring Arcadis business systems are updated and maintained on a regular basis and provide accurate financial information. To ensure that cash management activities are a constant focus with a continuous pursuit of improving cash flow by maximising billing and debt collection on projects. To drive continuous improvement in the development of Financial Processes and Financial systems. To ensure a superior health and safety perspective in everything the team does

Role accountabilities:




Supports and Transfers knowledge on project financials to Line Manger and Project Manager. Manages collection and dispute management processes and collaborates with project stakeholders (including Legal Department). Continues monitoring and improvement of processes for project reporting, administration and control. Advanced Excel skills and the ability to train colleagues. Coordinate with Corporate Accounting and their objectives. Maintain/update project reporting information using Power BI tools. Monitor receivables, follow up on collections, and update Collections Module to help forecast timing of invoicing, and estimated collection dates. Role requires the applicant be flexible and able to multi-task as deliverable requirements can change rapidly. Participating in monthly project reviews on major projects to ensure the Project is accurately reporting the financials each month and gain an understanding of key concerns the project delivery team has (e.g. agreement of the final contract, delivery of work, resourcing client communication, upcoming variations and amendments to scope as well as any OH&S concerns); Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manager or Arcadis; Ensuring you are familiar and compliant with Healthy and Safety regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:




Relevant accounting degree Post-graduate qualifications an advantage (CPA/CA/CIMA) Demonstrated technical, commercial and delivery acumen Strong communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally The ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines

The salary range for this position is $89,600-$112,000. The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
