What will you be doing!



Directing and supporting a team of Project Control Coordinators involved in developing project schedules for CNL. Ensuring accurate analyses are completed on projects. Reviewing commercial contracts and providing comments in relation to project schedule and cost implications. Providing project controls knowledge, skills, tools and techniques required to meet PMO/CNL needs and expectations. Providing guidance required to manage projects in a multi-project environment, including project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, resource, communications, and risk management. Facilitating the development of "what if" scenarios and remedial action plans, including the analysis and integrated output for management to use in the control of their projects. Other duties as assigned by your manager.

What we are looking for:



Education + University degree or college diploma from an accredited school in a field relevant to Project Management, Engineering, Economics or Business Administration.
+ A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
Experience + 5 - 10 years of increasing responsibility and relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and project delivery experience.
+ 3 - 5 years of leadership and/or supervisory experience, or the ability to motivate others to perform to expectations, would be an asset.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities + Knowledge of project management principles, processes and tools used to manage projects as recognized by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
+ Knowledge of project controls areas including cost control (advanced), scheduling (advanced), WBS preparation and implementation (advanced), cost estimating (basic) and change management (advanced).
+ Knowledge of procurement and financial processes.
+ Knowledge of project management techniques (i.e., Critical Path method, Earned Value Technique) and a sound understanding of the Primavera P6 software.
+ Organizational and planning skills, ability to establish priorities, define action plans, set and meet deadlines and monitor performance.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Excellent presentation, instructional, and coaching skills.
+ Effective team leadership and team-building skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team with strong interpersonal and networking skills essential to build relationships and work effectively with staff at various levels of the organization.
Security Clearance Eligibility Required + Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a

minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom

. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's "Standard on Security Screening" and the "Policy on Government Security."

Working Conditions:



We have a compressed work week, which consists of a four-day work week and ten hours a day, starting at 6 am. Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
