A mid-sized architectural firm in Ottawa, reputationally known for institutional projects, seeks an experienced Project Architect with 6+ years Canadian experience to lead a team of architectural professionals. They do community centers, colleges and universities, heritage and cultural projects: have well-established clients that entrust them to repeat business.

WHAT THEY NEED

• Someone with a Master\'s of Architecture; OAA licensing preferred but not necessary; candidate must have solid Revit skills and 5+ Canadian years experience leading teams; being client facing; developing & overseeing client proposals for moderate to large scale projects
• A well-rounded individual; technically minded with design skills capable of developing Revit conceptual designs for discriminating clients; experienced mentoring OAA interns and technologists
• Someone experienced from A-Z; schematic design to close out; with a Canadian portfolio of institutional projects including initial design concepts
• Preference to candidates speaking English and French; knowing key players in the Ottawa market; with DoD clearance
• An energetic thoughtful person that works well with others and champions the best in others
• Has a car to make site visits, meet clients, assess scope of work and do walk-throughs
