Main Responsibilities

About the Role: Miller Atlantic is looking for a Student Site Coordinator to join their team for 4 months term with full time hours.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers

• Track project costs and productions

• Track daily quantities and create a daily diary

• Assist in project planning and scheduling

• Ensure compliance with contract documents and specifications

• Assist project manager and coordinators with month end quantities

• Assist project coordinators with daily survey layout with Trimble GPS

Requirements

Requirements

• Working towards a Civil Engineering Degree (1st or 2nd year preferred)

• Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments

• Possess strong mathematical and computer skills (experience with Microsoft Office, MS Project )

• Candidates must possess a strong work ethic

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Work independently as well as part of a team

• Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies

• Demonstrate effective organizational skills/time management skills

• Travel may be required; must hold a minimum valid class 7.2 or class 5 driver\'s license

• Willing to work flexible hours determined by demanding construction schedules, including nights and/or weekends
