at CIMS LP, you will be a key contributor towards CIMS success by supporting day-to-day operations & finance tasks and assisting regional estimating activities while embodying CIMS corporate values of

You will report to the General Manager of Pulp & Paper and be accountable for:
Organizing the administrative set up of projects in the InEight system.
Supporting time entry, payroll processes and cost management for projects.
Participating in vendor purchasing and receiving.
Supporting billing and accounts receivable activities
Adhering to CIMS' project controls procedures and customer's contractual, finance and reporting requirements.
A successful candidate
would be an individual who has:
Completed a 2- or 3-year college program in business administration OR;
2 years of hands-on experience in accounting field or construction project-based administration.
Working knowledge of ERP/Business Central system and InEight software.
Proficiency in computer Microsoft Office applications i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook. Advanced Excel experience preferred.
The ability to work professionally and proactively with business segment leaders regarding their specific business needs.
A track record for being detailed and accurate, while also being able to read, interpret and apply collective agreements. Past experience doing time entry in a union environment is an asset.
Working conditions
you can expect while performing your role include:
An office environment, working to deadlines, potential high stress situations (i.e., collections, investigations, etc.)
Working outside of normal work hours on occasion to meet deadlines.
The requirement to travel 1-4 months per year to perform the above functions on a project site
