Position Title: Program Intake and Brief Services Social Worker

The Programs Intake and Brief Service Social Worker serves as a professional and supportive "first point of contact" for community members wanting to access services/programs of VNFC. This position provides basic assessment, information, referrals, and support to all clients contacting VNFC reception using a variety of service delivery platforms (telephone, in-person, and online). The Programs Intake and Brief Service Social Worker focuses on supporting immediate, short-term support and resources to community, including crisis intervention, information and referrals. This position contributes to the overall welcoming and supporting environment of the VNFC while providing information, support and referrals to individuals and families that have an immediate need.
