About the Position:

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Programmer will be responsible for but not limited to:


Generate programming for Trumpf and Messer Laser Machines ensuring that optimal use of material is being used Completing data entry into internal software Communicating to all team members on shop floor in order to ensure efficient and accurate tracking of material Plans inventory by checking stock and ensure correct amount is available for production Complete orders for material as needed Complete paperwork for work orders which are ready to be shipped Assistance on the production floor, as needed Other tasks such as filing, as needed

Work Location:

Hamilton ON.

Position Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience in a programming role Experience in the steel construction industry Knowledge of programming software Ability to read and understand Engineering, Structural drawings Knowledge of the Production Life Cycle Organization skills and the ability to be flexible in managing changing priorities A team player; one who can interrelate and operate effectively with peers and other associates within a collegial, yet demanding, work environment Strong Communication Skills Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Compensation Package:
