Overview:
The Programmer Assistant duties are designed to support the agencies programmers by completing basic programming duties. This role will work under the close direction and supervision of agency programmers and Directors to ensure that behavior support programs and other protocols are completed and reviewed according to agencies policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Basic Programming Duties
Develop social stories, visual schedules, reinforcement charts as per the individual's developed program plans
Complete annual reviews of individual AT/EI, Safe Bathing, and other required protocols in conjunction with programmers
Assist with maintaining programming and BARC files
Complete graphing of individual behavior data as required
Marking of program protocol knowledge tests under direction of programmers

Other Knowledge and Skills:
Working knowledge of SPAN's policies and procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
Knowledge of Sharevision an asset
Awareness of Community Services
Demonstrated communication skills
Education and Experience:
Required to have 2-3 year's experience working with individuals who have diverse abilities and with behavior programs. Preference will be given to those candidates who have formal training and/or education in applied behavior analysis or equivalent.
Working Conditions:
This position is a 35 hour per week position. The work is primarily office based.

Pay: $18.92-$24.42 per hour
