) Program Planning Analyst

position in the Inclusive Learning and Enrichment Programs group (ILEP). This position provides academic integrity support and oversees the operations of various inclusive learning and enrichment programs.


Duties & Responsibilities


POSITION

PURPOSE

:





The Program Planning Analyst advances BCIT's commitment to educational integrity and global engagement by supporting fair academic integrity processes and coordinating inclusive international learning experiences. The role ensures that students gain the integrity, intercultural competence, and global perspective needed to succeed in an interconnected world.



SPECIFIC

RESPONSIBILITIES

INCLUDE

:



1. Academic Integrity Support

Work with Associate Deans, Program Heads and Instructors to provide support for academic integrity cases. Work may include providing support related to: + Investigation
+ Resolution
+ Academic Integrity Reports



2. Student Enrichment Opportunities


Exchange Programs

- Drive applications, screen applicants and oversee implementation for outgoing exchange to BCIT's international partner institutions. Support program and course selection for incoming international students.

Summer Field Schools

- Drive applications, screen applicants and oversee implementation of current options (Italy and Japan). Develop and implement new summer field school options.

Disney Cultural Exchange Program

- Drive applications, coordinate with Disney International Recruitment and oversee implementation of BCIT/Disney Summer Internship Program.

REQUIRED

QUALIFICATIONS

AND

EXPERIENCE

:


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related discipline. Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in program coordination, academic administration, or student services within a post-secondary environment. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple priorities and projects within established timelines. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports and correspondence. Proven ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and diplomacy when dealing with confidential or sensitive matters. Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience with enterprise systems or databases used in academic or administrative settings.

QUALIFICATIONS

:


Experience supporting or coordinating academic integrity processes, investigations, or student conduct matters. Understands and utilizes AI agents to streamline and manage work. Experience advising and supporting students participating in exchange, field school, or study abroad programs. Experience coordinating or administering international education or student mobility initiatives. Familiarity with post-secondary academic policies, procedures, and governance processes. Demonstrated intercultural competence and experience working effectively with diverse populations. Experience building and maintaining partnerships with international or external organizations. Knowledge of enterprise systems such as Banner, SharePoint, or equivalent academic management tools.

Salary Range

$48,467 to $81,209 per annum


Additional Salary Information


Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
