Overview of Position



The Program Operations Specialist (Dealer Systems) serves as the Canadian representative for the Dealer Program Enrollments (DPE) -- a global application used by dealers to opt in or out of various GM programs (e.g. Costco partnership). This tool enables GM to monitor dealer participation and manage all Canadian program enrollments within the system.

You will also provide support for the team in managing Global Connect, the web portal that is used to communicate with dealers, and where dealers launch various dealer applications covering all aspect of the business - training, sales, aftersales, etc. If you enjoy collaborating with all areas of the business and dealers to reach a common goal, then this is the position for you.

Key Responsibilities



Deliver a leading customer experience to our dealers through the Dealer Program Enrollment System (DPE). Identify and communicate unique Canadian requirements in enhancements to existing programs such as Global Connect and Dealer Program Enrollments. Work with the appropriate business teams to develop and launch new programs that require dealer enrollments. Provide support and troubleshoot issues when dealers require assistance in the enrollment process. Manage programs and identify/expire programs that are no longer active or required. Participate in DPE project meetings with the US business teams and the software development teams (GMIT). Participate in DPE User Acceptance Testing to ensure the Canada-specific requirements have been met and are working correctly. Identify defects and submit tickets to the appropriate project and/or support teams in a timely manner. Maintain and administer an issue log to keep track of open tickets, keep impacted teams updated, and track the tickets to closure. Liaise with Dealer Business Centre (dealer helpdesk) when they are unable to answer dealer questions or require assistance with dealer escalations.

Other Key Responsibilities



Assist with the development of user stories for enhancements of Global Connect and all related components. Assist with User Acceptance Testing for the portal and the related components listed above. Participate in project meetings with the US business team and GM IT. Engage positively with all stakeholders and make recommendations for enhancements where appropriate. Become a key member of the Technology team and embrace the GM Cultural Behaviors.

Required Skills and Experience



Undergraduate degree or related work experience. An understanding of dealer and field operations. Proficiency in supporting and operating business systems and applications used for dealer operations A high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders within and outside the organization. Excellent organizational and planning skills and ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects. A good foundation in or direct experience defining and developing requirements during the user story development phase of projects. High proficiency with Microsoft Applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint.

Preferred Skills and Experience



Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset. Experience with SQL, XML, and cloud infrastructures.
