About the RoleThe Program Manager, Payor Solutions, under the direction of the Portfolio Manager, Payor Solutions, is responsible for the oversight, operations and direct management of Payor Solutions Department. The Program Manager, in keeping with the organizational structure of the Payor Solutions department, assumes overall responsibility operational requirements, relating to their department.This is a contract role for up to August 2025 is operated on a remote basis and is open to candidates that reside in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon.A Day in the Life:

  • Supports the Payor Solutions department team in managing the day-to-day assignment and operation of the team
  • Manages escalations as required
  • Executes and updates processes and policies to support changing business needs or new clients
  • Develops standardized training and delivers training to the Payor Solutions department team
  • Represents the Payor Solutions department in developing and maintaining new processes and procedures with peers in BSRX, such as Finance, DEX, Pharmacy and PSS
  • Develops knowledge tools for Payor Solutions team members
  • Works with internal business units to address any requirements for changes as a result of program implementation
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for patient advocacy and payor program strategies
  • Adheres to Bayshore Policies and Procedures
  • Participates in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company\'s Quality Management System as well as specific performance indicators for the project
  • Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.
  • Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
  • Supports the Portfolio Manager, Payor Solutions and the National Lead, Drug Plan Solutions on other initiatives and projects, as directed
QualificationsWhat You Bring to the Team
  • Has at least 5 years of Canadian public and private reimbursement navigation and advocacy experience, within a patient program environment, ideally with PA/SA drugs for chronic diseases
  • Has managed front line team members
  • Has worked directly with/for insurers, employers, pharmaceutical manufacturers or specialty pharmacies
  • Has strong computer and software skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Viso, Sharepoint, CRM database entry, VOIP telephony, web portals, teleconferences, web-based meetings, NAV, KROLL and/or other pharmacy related software systems
  • Proficiency with Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools an asset
  • Able to triage priorities \xe2\x80\x93 what should be directly handled, what should be assigned to others, what should be escalated to senior leadership
  • Able to implement new processes, procedures effectively and efficiently
  • Able to communicate and present with confidence to peer Managers and senior executives
  • Able to organize and manage priorities
  • Able to evaluate important vs. urgent situations and make appropriate decisions
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Is familiar with PIPEDA and how it applies in a confidential patient environment
