Reporting to Manager, Contracts and Growth, you\'ll work within deadlines to achieve program objectives while challenging business practices to improve processes.Our 2,500+ employees come to work every day to meet the energy needs of our customers safely, reliably, and affordably.   • Collaborate across various teams to oversee and execute a variety of programs within the project management office (PMO). You\'ll focus on scope management, cost control, reporting, and timely delivery.
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility by working within budgets and deadlines, while continuously looking for ways to improve business processes.
  • Ensure key stakeholders are informed by identifing and effectively communicating any changes to the program.
  • Coordinate and assign resources to positively impact programs.
Programs managed by the PMO may support capital or Operations and Maintenance portfolios, as required. Our program managers are responsible for the growth capital program, distribution mains renewals program, joint trenching, vertical subdivisions, bridge inspection and maintenance, and contracted services to support the PMO project managers and operations groups.What it takes:
  • A bachelor\'s degree in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university, plus a minimum of four to seven years of recent and related experience in project management and field construction.
  • An equivalent combination of education, related training, and experience may be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of contract negotiations, resource planning, and project management processes and permitting
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and analytical skills, with a proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines and related cost objectives.
  • Proficiency in report writing and associated project management tools (Microsoft Excel, Work, and Project as well as Primavera).
