ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Program Manager, Strategy Operations, you'll drive key leadership priorities and play a pivotal role in shaping cross-functional initiatives. In this role, you'll maintain a comprehensive view of company activities, empower leadership forums to make impactful decisions, and champion consistent follow-up to resolve outstanding issues. You'll spot process inefficiencies and proactively recommend improvements, all while providing essential operational support that enables the Strategy function to lead planning, spark idea development, and deliver successful implementation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Enterprise Visibility
Maintain a single, unified tracker for initiatives, questions, issues, risks, dependencies, and owners across all functions (Retail, dotCA, Merchandising, Marketing, Planning, Finance, Operations, & HR)
Flag overlaps, interdependencies, and capacity risks to the relevant leaders
Provide structured updates to leadership on what is active, blocked, or needs their decision
Leadership Forums and Cascades
Plan and run leadership seminars, offsites, quarterly reviews, visits from global/regional teams, and cascades to the Leadership Community
Own agendas, pre-reads, logistics, timekeeping, and documentation
Facilitate discussions to ensure equal voice, clear decisions, and assigned next steps
Capture and route Leadership Community feedback upward and integrate Sales/Analytics inputs into cascades
Execution and Closure
Translate leadership direction into actionable roadmaps, defining clear ownership, timelines, and success metrics. Maintain trackers, calendars, and decision logs to ensure accountability and transparency across all strategic priorities
Proactively monitor progress and follow up with stakeholders until items are resolved; escalate when impact thresholds are met
Ensure no commitments remain incomplete or unshipped
Documentation and Communication Standards
Establish and maintain standards for the creation of accurate reports, decision notes, trackers, and progress updates that provide senior leadership with a clear and concise understanding of strategic performance
Summarize complex discussions into concise, data-driven narratives that enable informed decision-making at the leadership level
Enforce presentation standards and story spine (Context Stakes Insight ImplicationAsk) for all decks submitted to leadership
Optimization and Continuous Improvement
Conduct in-depth assessments of existing processesto identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and communication gaps that hinder strategic execution. Propose and implement improvements to project management practices, forums, and reporting, driving significant gains in efficiency and effectiveness.
Champion optimization governance to support cross-functional collaboration across the business; lead organizational changes to positively reducing organizational workload
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
5-8 years of experience in program management, business operations, or strategy execution
Proven ability to drive initiatives from discussion to closure on time and to standard
Experience running executive-level meetings and forums with clear outcomes
Strong project management skills in tracking, follow-through, and stakeholder management and accountability
Clear written and verbal communication; ability to summarize complex inputs into concise outputs
Expertise in streamlining processes to enhance operational efficiency
Proficiency with project management and reporting tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira)
PMP, Agile, or related certification considered an asset
