Program Manager / Senior Project Manager – Information Security
Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager / Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Information Security to lead security-focused initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage information security programs and projects
- Coordinate with cybersecurity, risk, and compliance teams
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure delivery of security initiatives aligned with regulatory standards
- Report program status, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership
- Support audits, security assessments, and compliance initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in program or project management
- Hands-on experience managing information security projects
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and risk management
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, PgMP, or Prince2 certification
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, or similar frameworks
- Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $55.00-$80.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON
