We're seeking a
Program Manager
who will lead frontline staff, oversee day-to-day program operations, and ensure compliance with Ministry regulations and agency standards. This is a key leadership role that supports client well-being and staff excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct supervision to staff and attend assigned programs weekly
Manage day-to-day operations across residential programs
Respond promptly to incidents and submit required documentation
Conduct monthly reviews of clients' behavioural progress
Participate in on-call rotation
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and staff training initiatives
Attend clinical meetings and liaise with psychologists and clinicians
Ensure up-to-date certifications for team members
Support payroll documentation and approval processes
Address performance concerns in collaboration with HR
Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness of residences
Build and maintain positive relationships with families and external partners
Mentor senior staff and promote leadership within the team
Monitor adherence to Health & Safety and Ministry standards
Required Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Social Services (e.g., DSW, SSW, CYW)
Minimum
5 years
of experience in social services or residential care
Minimum
3 years
of supervisory experience
Valid
Class G Driver's Licence
Current
CPR/First Aid
Clear
Vulnerable Sector Police Check/Broad Record Check
Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage crisis situations and adapt to changing priorities
Strong report writing and active listening skills
Familiarity with Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) standards
