is a provider of contract manufacturing services primarily to the aerospace and defense industries. We manufacture single part numbers to final tested multi-part number assemblies. We are a leading supplier of high quality gears, gearboxes components and sub-assemblies for a wide spectrum of customers.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Program/Project Manager to manage major aerospace and defense contracts internally to ensure total customer satisfaction.? Program Managers provide leadership, organizational coordination to support key activities, encompassing planning, governance and project management. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and a proven track record in program development and execution. The Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

Duties

Manages the full project management life cycle and manufacturing development life cycle in order to meet the strategic goals of the company.? Must be able to manage multiple programs with multiple clients. establishes and implements necessary policies and systems to monitor, report, and control project goals, milestones, and budget. Provides both verbal and written communications regarding project status, risks, and issues, and makes recommendations on projects. Provides support to the other departments - engineering, planning, purchasing, production, QA, inventory, shipping and logistics - in order to realize successful program implementation. Provide full reporting and visibility to clients on status of programs and any potential delays or issues in meeting order requirements. Provide senior management status reports on multiple programs being managed.

Requirements

Must have minimum?3?years experience managing multiple projects, preferably?in?manufacturing. Must?have very strong skills?with MS office products - Excel, Word, Outlook, Project. Bachelor's degree in Engineering is an asset. PMP designation is an asset. Avion is an AS9100 and Controlled Goods Registered facility - all employees must pass security assessments which include a police records check. Supervising experience with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders at all levels. Experience in process mapping, business process modeling, and conflict management is a plus. Knowledge of earned value management techniques for tracking project performance. Ability to apply negotiation skills in customer management scenarios.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
