Job Description

TECHNICAL



Quote and coordinate new and design change of assigned programs. Work with customers and suppliers to determine product requirements and performance specifications and communicate all issues to CFT. Prepare and maintain all necessary documents in accordance with customer APQP, AIAG, and company APQP / GPMS requirements e.g. FMEA, DVP&R, and timelines. Establish and maintain program timeline (GANTT chart) and open issues for each project; organize appropriate meetings and coordinate activities within APQP. Generate Phase sign-off documentation in accordance to APQP and coordinate phase sign-off to support program timing. Release CNs and follow-up with CN activities until CN closure. Implement customer changes through company APQP and CN system to support program timing. Ensure cost of prototyping and production parts are within budget. Ensure all project deliverables and timing are met. Work on design/process development with Design Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers to support program. Participate in R&D and future products development activities as required. Lead and coordinate interdepartmental activities pertaining to project demands e.g. VA/VE and DFA/DFM as required. Represent company during a new product launch. Develop new business with existing customers and bring new opportunities to Pullmatic. Seek new businesses with potential customers and bring new opportunities to Pullmatic Integrate customer system into Pullmatic and ensure smooth transition and functional operation of both systems. Present monthly program update on status and ensure compliance to customer specific APQP Yearly reviews of all FMEAs

Represent Engineering internally and externally Lead and project manage CFT on new and existing projects Maintain APQP of assigned programs Customer and program management Interdepartmental liaison Tooling and equipment support Continuous improvement Current and Future Products business development Timely response to customer RFQs Leadership in understanding and implementing customer specific requirements

QUALIFICATIONS



Engineering degree or equivalent. Mechatronics degree is preferred P.Eng or working towards P. Eng, Project Management from PMI or other certificate Knowledge of Mechatronics and background in Electro-Mechanical product/process development an asset One to three years of product design and development experience in automotive industry in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical product development One to three years of program management experience in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical product development Excellent documentation, organizational & project management skills Excellent English language communication skills (both verbal & written) Excellent understanding of Engineering economics and basic financial models Excellent knowledge of IATF & ISO14001 systems Excellent leadership, problem-solving & analytical skills Computer literate: Up-to-date cad skills and drafting experience (AutoCad & SolidWorks), Microsoft Office and Microsoft Projects General understanding of machine tool and stamping manufacturing experience WHMIS
