Start Date: October 27, 2025 to November 16, 2026
SIGN is seeking an energetic, motivated, resourceful and knowledgeable leader, who will work closely and collaboratively with the 24-hour staffing body, SIGN and the Ministry of Social Services, to ensure a well-balanced program that enhances the development, safety and well being of youth residents. This position will ensure the facility and staff respect and protect the rights of the youth, including their right to independence, autonomy, and self-determination; their right to choose and practice individual values, beliefs, religion, and culture; their right to privacy and dignity; and their right to live free from retaliation, discrimination, and abuse.

Expectations:
Manage the overall operations of the group home, including intake, staffing and finances;
Provide effective verbal and written communication with staff and residents and Social Services;
Have a solid knowledge of child and youth development and understand the issues related to youth in care;
Provide leadership with a team approach to ensure the best interests of the youth are met;
Demonstrate accountability and integrity with all stakeholders;
Collaborate with others to plan, implement, and evaluate youth care and support.
Qualifications and experience:
A Bachelor of Social Work, a degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of work experience and education that is acceptable to the Board of Directors;
A valid Saskatchewan Driver's License;
A recent (6 months or less) and clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check;
Experience in a management role and/or supervising staff; employee development;
Experience providing direct and comprehensive care to youth with specialized and complex needs.
