Your role:





The Enterprise Systems group is responsible for maintaining the Company's Enterprise software applications i.e. Finance and Accounting, Banking, Analytics, CRM, Customer Portal and others. They ensure internal applications address important stakeholder/customer problems and opportunities that aid in core business functions.



The Enterprise Systems Program Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of complex software application projects. They will have the opportunity to work with cross-company stakeholders and affect significant organizational change. Project activities include a mix of internal development, configuration, operations, and third party provider implementation activities.



In addition to managing cross-team initiatives, this role provides structure, coaching, and day-to-day guidance for two Project Managers delivering work within the Enterprise Systems portfolio.



The Program Manager facilitates processes and supports program execution, escalates impediments, manages risk, and helps drive program-level continuous improvement. The Program Manager must allocate and optimize resources across all of the constituent projects, as well as any additional work that is required. They must have the ability to creatively define the project pacing and obtain incremental benefits before the program is complete.


Your responsibilities:




Take the lead from a project planning and coordination perspective for the delivery of one or more larger cross-team initiatives. This will include working with Enterprise Systems teams on scope, third parties on delivery approach and phasing, and dependent Company teams on work inputs. Provide structure, direction, and clear priorities for two Project Managers, ensuring their projects follow consistent planning, execution, and reporting practices. Coach and mentor Project Managers through regular touchpoints, helping them navigate risks, stakeholder expectations, and cross-team dependencies. Working with Enterprise Systems teams and third parties, compile work estimates and planning assumptions. Socialize overall target milestones, per initiative, based on work estimates and assumptions. Identify and coordinate dependencies throughout the implementation life cycle and track key project gates (including stakeholder, architectural and security reviews) to completion. Work closely with third parties and project teams to ensure system readiness and effective alignment/co-ordination across teams for user acceptance testing and integration testing, refining the approach taken as the company increases agility through the various testing and project phases. Work with colleagues, and third parties, and key stakeholders to actively remove any obstacles blocking progress and ensure releases and initiatives and projects are tracking to schedule, escalating to engineering management or senior program management as appropriate. Proactively identify and manage delivery issues and risks in accordance with Global Relay's risk management framework. Track progress against target completion dates of projects and initiatives using Jira and other tools; work with component teams and senior program management to resolve any issues which impact plans. Report on progress at the appropriate meetings (project-specific and company-wide) in accordance with Global Relay's project and program management framework. Acquire a high level understanding of the design, business logic, and conceptual architecture of the relevant enterprise software and become a subject matter expert (sufficient to support effective project delivery) for priority initiatives and projects. Be a champion for process improvements including those which will improve project predictability; identify opportunities to streamline and provide visibility into critical cross-component delivery activities. Provide guidance and assistance in resolving issues and removing roadblocks.

About you:




A degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science or other technical field Experience which includes 3+ years of Enterprise Applications domain and/or SaaS systems i.e. FIN/ACCT, HR, CRM (as a Program Manager or equivalent role) including planning, monitoring, managing risks and issues, and reporting on project status. Experience of project delivery using Agile, Scrum and hybrid development and implementation methodologies. Experience with driving cross-team initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization including working with remote teams Experience providing guidance or mentorship to Project Managers or project teams, including establishing ways of working and delivery standards. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals Strong organizational, planning, stakeholder management and documentation skills

Nice to have:




One or more agile/project management qualifications, e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2 Practitioner Experience with data migration projects or activities. Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Contract Price Quote, Netsuite Financials/HR, and/or Zone Billing is a plus.
