Program Manager - Energy Efficiency

Location: Edmonton-Must be local to the area

To support our growth, we are currently seeking a Program Manager for our Energy Efficiency division to lead and grow ICF\xe2\x80\x99s energy efficiency programs. You will lead the development and management of an energy efficiency program, build relationships with clients, design/implement program strategies and plans, coordinate sub-contractors, as well as develop and execute marketing and outreach strategies. Strong preference for the candidate to be located in Edmonton, but consideration will be made for candidates elsewhere in Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program implementation including development and execution of detailed and effective implementation and management plans, quality control, and program evaluation
  • Manage program forecasts program forecasts, goals and budgets along with providing regulatory support
  • Coordinating IT, outreach, marketing, and reporting to meet client needs and program goals
  • Day to day management of program team members
  • Management of sub-contractors as needed
  • Primary interface with client(s) \xe2\x80\x93 day to day and future planning
  • Building and maintaining relationships while driving businesses towards the implementation of energy performance improvements through the use of existing market knowledge and proven energy efficient technologies
  • Provide ongoing client support as needed. Support will include program reporting, meeting attendance and other client communication as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team (in-house or virtual)
  • 3+ years of client interaction, and relationship-building
  • Proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong planning, organization, and supervisory skills
  • Self-motivated, able to manage own time minimal oversight
Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor\'s degree
  • 3+ years of experience developing designing and administering successful energy efficiency and demand reduction programs, with specific expertise focused on the commercial and industrial sectors
  • 3+ years of experience managing consulting projects for utilities, governments, and/or regional non-profits
  • Ability to establish influential partnerships at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience with business development and client development
  • Recognized internally and externally for expertise in functional area
  • Industry certifications, professional affiliations, and publications
  • Experience with energy management, energy audits, energy efficiency projects, or other elements of managing energy at a facility.
