RAD Renovations
program - an innovative initiative that modifies homes to make them accessible for people with mobility challenges.

What You'll Do:
Lead the RAD Renovations program
from design to delivery - overseeing home modification projects that help people live with dignity and independence.
Build and scale
a fee-for-service social enterprise model to expand the program's reach and sustainability.
Collaborate
with clients, occupational therapists, contractors, funders, and internal teams to ensure accessibility modifications are functional, beautiful, and code-compliant.
Oversee assessments, design drawings, contractor management, costing, and construction schedules.
Advocate for inclusive design through public speaking, community events, and partnerships.
What You Bring:
A professional
design degree or diploma
and
3+ years of design experience
, with high proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino3D, Sketch-Up, AutoCAD, etc.
3+ years of project management experience
Knowledge of Alberta Building Code
, Universal Design, and Accessibility Design standards.
Rick Hansen Professional Accessibility Certification
or the desire to gain this certification; CAPM or PMP is an asset.
Experience managing staff or volunteers, and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
A growth mindset, a commitment to innovation, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Valid driver's license, vehicle, and satisfactory criminal record check.
