mental health, child development, educational, and behavioural services
to children youth and families in the east end of Toronto. Our clinical team includes Social Workers, Child and Youth Therapists, and Behaviour Analysts who collaborate to provide quality, holistic, evidence-based services. Our team specializes in taking a skill-based approach to mental wellness, teaching foundational social-emotional learning skills to set children up for success when navigating the challenges that arise with growing up!
We blend evidence-based therapy with creativity, compassion, and innovation. Our programs are neurodivergent affirming, and support children and teens with autism, ADHD, OCD, learning differences, and social-emotional challenges -- helping them thrive at home, at school, and in the community.

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a
Program Manager
to provide Clinical and Operational Leadership to our team. This position is perfect for a clinician who wants to continue strengthening their clinical skills
while also leading systems, supervising staff, and contributing to the growth of a leading children's mental health centre
.
Position Overview
The Program Manager will balance approximately
60% Clinical work
with
40% program and operational leadership
. They will oversee all clinical operations, in collaboration with the clinical services manager, including
mental health, child development, education, and behavioural services
-- ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation across the centre.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical (?60%)
Provide direct therapy and support to children and youth ages 2-18 (individuals, groups, and families). This may include: play therapy, psychotherapy, skill-based learning, executive functioning supports, parent coaching, behavioural support and more.
Maintain a caseload equivalent to ~15 billable hours/week.
Provide
clinical oversight and supervision
to staff.
Develop and strengthen Willow Tree's clinical programs
by:
Designing and refining group and 1:1 therapy offerings.
Creating structured templates and clinical documentation tools.
Managing staff caseloads effectively.
Establishing best practices for assessment, planning, and outcomes tracking.
Ensuring all clinical programs align with evidence-based and neurodivergent-affirming care.
Program & Operations (?40%)
Oversee the clinical side of operations across departments, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
Lead projects and teams independently with minimal oversight
, driving initiatives from planning to execution.
Lead regular
team and program meetings
to review progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment across departments.
Foster collaboration and continuous improvement across staff and programs.
Support the Operations Manager from a clinical perspective to strengthen intake, onboarding, scheduling, documentation, and workflows.
Track KPIs, monitor program budgets, and oversee financial reporting.
Manage grant deliverables, including data collection and outcome tracking.
Ensure consistent quality standards in documentation, compliance, and service delivery.
Provide clear
updates on program performance, outcomes, and goals
to leadership.
Identify challenges, analyze problems, and take initiative to implement solutions.
Use tools including
Trello, Notion, Google Workspace, and Juvonno,
for program and team management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational and Clinical Credentials:
Holds a Master Degree in Social Work from a reputable institution
Is currently a Registered Social Worker (RSW)
in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
Exceptional
BSW-level RSWs
with extensive experience and proven leadership will be considered.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum
3+ years of direct clinical work
with neurodivergent children and youth (Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities +)
Minimum
5+ years working with children and youth
in some capacity (clinical, community, or educational).
Minimum
1+ year in a management, supervisory, or leadership role
.
Ideal candidate will have knowledge and understanding of mental health, ABA and child development services, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
Knowledge of or interest in
ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)
.
Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent computer proficiency -- skilled in creating templates, documents, spreadsheets, using AI and producing reports.
Strong leadership and initiative skills; confident in decision-making.
Must be able to
take initiative on projects
and successfully
lead projects independently.
Experience with
financial tracking, budgeting, and grant management
.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal).
Proven ability to lead a team, provide constructive feedback, and support professional growth.
