About Our Opportunity

We\'re hiring for a motivated, dynamic Program Lead to join our team and take charge of program delivery and administration.

The Program Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating a variety of programs that have province-wide implications. Your key responsibilities will encompass comprehensive program administration, tracking and coordination. As the Program Lead, you will play a crucial role in the continuous improvement of our programs and operations by designing and improving innovative programs, developing program delivery processes, identifying, and measuring targets as well as evaluating and planning direction of programs and policies. Additionally, you will serve as a subject matter expert to provincial and national organizations, leading the development of programs and conducting in-depth evaluations to ensure their success.

The position will also supervise up to two (2) coordinators and work very closely with a multidisciplinary team, making this an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to contribute to our growth and success.

Qualifications and Experience

You are a self-driven and proactive individual who can manage projects independently, has a strong grasp of program administration and management, and can effectively collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve objectives.

You have completed a bachelor\'s degree and have at least six (6) years of experience in the administration and coordination of programs, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

You must demonstrate:

  • Supervisory experience as well as key leadership qualities including collaboration, teamwork, and relationship building.
  • Knowledge and skills in program management, project management and policy analysis.
  • The ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong organization skills when managing and tracking multiple pieces of information.
  • The ability to make independent decisions and provide guidance and training to others in decision-making processes.
Assets include:
  • Masters of Public Administration
  • Experience leading consultation processes
  • Experience working with Municipalities
We will assess the above qualifications and competencies using one or more of the following tools: written examination, standardized tests, oral presentations, interview(s), and reference checks.

Equivalency

We recognize equivalent combinations of training, education, and experience, providing opportunities for individuals with diverse backgrounds to contribute their skills and expertise. Equivalencies include, but are not limited to:
  • A completed Master\'s degree along with four (4) years of related experience;
  • A related 2-year diploma and eight (8) years of related experience.

Working Conditions

Most of your time is spent in a comfortable office setting. You will have daily contact with the public, various Government Departments as well as other local Agencies and Institutions. Your normal work week is 35 hours/week, 7 hours/day.

Pay Grade: PR 17

Salary Range: $3,091.70 - $3,631.17 Bi-Weekly
