Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants.
Prepare, facilitate, and evaluate program, which may include but not limited to preparing for sessions, delivering program sessions, and prepare healthy snack options.
Plan and engage children in play that promotes social /emotional wellbeing, strengths, and positive social interaction.
Guide, support and mentor children in their participation and peer interactions.
Contribute to care and maintenance of program indoor/outdoor play areas and equipment, maintaining health and safety standards at all times.
Ensure program related supplies, equipment and personal care items are organized and stocked.

Experience and Competencies
Has a strong interest in children and youth; a positive, outgoing demeanor; the ability to develop warm, supportive relationships with children, youth, and women.
Able to work effectively in a demanding, team environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
