POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the overall day to day maintenance of all residences, programs and vehicles. Development of trainings, as well as booking instructors and arranging initial training classes including online and off site training. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance Establish relationships with companies. Receiving/Maintaining maintenance list for each department from coordinators. Tender quote for large jobs exceeding $1,000. Obtain approval for spending from the Executive Director. Ensure season maintenance is completed on rotation. Physical inspection of all the residence/program 3x a year. Member of the Health and Safety committee. Website and social media updates/maintenance. Scheduling Coverage for scheduling coordinator. Department Scheduling, assigning staff to their scheduled shifts. Maintaining master schedules for departments. Providing coverage for staff vacation and sick time during the week. Training/Administration Develop training modules. Working partner with scheduling coordinator/payroll. Ensuring all file requirements are up to date and received on a ongoing bases. Provide direction/instruction for online classes. Creation and development of training videos. Program Development and Management Support program development and management by identifying areas for growth and development and actively participate in the strategic planning process. Act as a resource to address client support and service issues. Ensures all legislative and legal requirements are met. Proposal Development Identify need for services and initiate or follow-up on the development process Input on staffing proposals and participate in negotiating funding Program Evaluation Ensure that staffing services are working towards achieving their outcomes Participate in formal program evaluations Requirements include: Valid Class 5F MB drivers license; Clear Criminal Record check with Vulnerable Sectors Search; Clear Adult Abuse Registry Check; Clear Child Abuse Registry Check; Valid First Aid and CPR Level C There is no closing date for this posting.   • Child and Adult Abuse Registry Checks (preferred)
