Program CoordinatorPrimary Purpose: The Coordinator supports the goal of the Division of Continuing Medical Education (CME) to engage with healthcare professionals to enhance health care outcomes by delivering continuing professional learning that is focused on the needs of the patient and their communities. The primary purpose of the role of Coordinator is to provide administration and coordination of the Saskatchewan Non-Licensed International Medical Graduate (IMG) Support Program (hereby known as the Program).Nature of Work: Reporting to the Director and working through the Associate Dean CME, the incumbent must be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to meet expected goals and objectives of the Division of CME. This role implements the IMG Support Program and provides information and support to International Medical Graduates (IMGs) who have received their medical education elsewhere but are not currently licensed to practice in Saskatchewan. Program policies are applied to determine a client's eligibility for the Program. Components of the Program are delivered through multiple modalities and are scheduled at various times of the day and week to meet the needs of learners, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
