We are expanding our Program Team to extend our reach in Skilled Futures, Skills for Success, ENTER: Preneur and Career Awareness Presentations to students and community groups across the province. We are seeking an individual to join our staff who is a team player, professional, organized, and reliable. The successful candidate will possess excellent administration and communication skills, be highly organized and detailed-oriented and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Some additional work outside the regular workday and provincial travel may be expected. These positions require access to a reliable vehicle and successful candidates will be subject to Criminal Record, and Vulnerable Sector checks.
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to join our team in Newfoundland and Labrador. In this role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating programs that empower youth in skilled trades and technologies, aligning with our mission to inspire excellence and passion among young individuals.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging programs for youth exploring skilled trades,
Manage relationships with stakeholders, including schools and community organizations,
Develop and deliver in-school presentations and events,
Oversee program logistics, ensuring smooth execution of activities,
Collaborate with team members to enhance program offerings,
Provide support and guidance to participants throughout their journey,
Monitor program effectiveness and gather feedback for continuous improvement,
Assist in administrative tasks related to program management,
Foster an inclusive environment for all participants.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, or a related field,
Experience in Project Coordination, event organization, office technology, research, presenting to groups and community outreach,
Excellent relationship management abilities with stakeholders,
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail,
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment,
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail,
Proficiency in a multi-task environment,
Excellent computer skills including Google Suite, Microsoft office software, social media, office equipment,
Professional and friendly communication style (telephone, e-mail, and in person).

Compensation
:
$40,000 per annum
Health, dental, LTD and Life Insurance (post-probationary period).
Paid Time off: 10 Days of vacation time, 10 days of personal leave, plus 13 paid holidays,
Additional two + week vacation time: Office is closed last week of August and a minimum of one week during Christmas for staff appreciation.
