temporary Program Coordinator

position to provide oversight of programming within the

Momma Moments and Family Natural Support program

until December 26, 2025 (with a possibility of extension). The individual in this leadership role will report to the Program Manager and work collaboratively with teams to ensure effective program delivery, best standards of practice and innovative planning moving forward.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



Provide strategic leadership and program oversight to a large multidisciplinary team. Develop screening guidelines with teams, including waitlist assessment method. Oversee Momma Moments housing locations, working with housing lead and maintenance team. Provide supervision and guidance to staff. Work collaboratively with program therapist and other program coordinators. Lead team meetings and case consultations with teams. Capture relevant data regarding services offered and provide detailed reports for funders. Ensure client information is collected in accordance with CFY's policy on the security and maintenance of client information. Assist with program guideline development based on needs of program participants, to inform individual case plans. Develop strong working relationships with other service providers in the community. Monitor and promote improved outcomes for program participants. Nurture and contribute to the unique culture of the organization. Commit to helping CFY achieve the goals of its strategic plan. Take lead in and encourage the development of skills in staff to navigate crises and challenging situations. Help foster a safe and respectful work environment with colleagues and youth served. Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS



Bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, or diploma in social sciences field. Five years' experience in program development. Demonstrated experience in the non-profit sector. Knowledge of community resources and support for youth and families. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Familiarity of harm reduction principles and strategies Experience with and understanding of working from a Trauma Informed Practice lens. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Knowledge of issues pertaining to homelessness and street involved and at-risk youth. Experience in supportive family counselling would be an asset. Able to work both independently and as part of a team. Use of your own vehicle is required. Satisfactory record of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Check ASIST training Current First Aid/CPR are required.

Flexibility towards change Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Excellent time management and organizational skills

WORK HOURS





The position will work 35 hours per week 8:30am - 4:30pm (or 9am-5pm) Monday to Friday. Some flexibility in work hours will be required to accommodate higher work volumes and organizational requirements, including evenings and weekends in an on-call circulation capacity.
