PROGRAM COORDINATOR, CONTINUING EDUCATION
FACULTY OF BUSINESS, ENVIRONMENT & TECHNOLOGY

Reporting to the Manager, Operations, the Program Coordinator is responsible for completing tasks related to customer and student inquiries, planning and reporting, instructor onboarding, scheduling support, purchasing reconciliations, and document formatting and creation to support the efficient operation of the Continuing Education team. The Program Coordinator will provide operational support to Continuing Education training engagements.


HOW YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE


  • Support the operations function of delivering Continuing Education programming.
  • Provide administrative support to initiate, monitor or complete systems access and physical access of Business Development team members, which includes permanent and contracted staff.
  • Manage flow of tasks to support team with IT, facilities, and administrative tasks for the betterment of business operations.
  • Manage supplies orders for the unit to ensure appropriate cost management and centralized order processing.
  • Providing first contact support for students and customers and deciding on when and how to escalate for resolution.
  • Synthesize and distribute information received at Business Development through general inquiries email and incoming calls from current and prospective customers to team members within Business Development.
  • Deliver high-level customer service to external clients and internal stakeholders to ensure we are growing successfully.
  • Arrange for travel and accommodations for NorQuest staff.
  • Support with tasks related to event management.
  • Compiling and submitting expense claims to NorQuest\xe2\x80\x99s procurement team in support of managers of the unit.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes that provide value to NorQuest and its customers.
  • Support the operations by editing and formatting of proposals, contracts, briefing notes, minutes, and other documents as required.
  • Constructively solve problems and issues that arise and provides input on how to address them, referring complex, sensitive, or contentious issues to a Manager for direction and advice.
  • Provide administrative support for lines of business within Business Development portfolio to support in scheduling team meetings and portfolio-wide activities.
  • Maintain and update web content working with the NorQuest Communications Team.



WHAT YOU BRING


  • Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a related position, experience in a post-secondary setting would be an asset.

SALARY:
$48,403 - $62,910 reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a full-time term position to June 30, 2024 with the possibility of extension with the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) and includes immediate access to our great benefits program.
