This position will work with the integrated teams of staff and volunteers to deliver programs and services that change the lives of Canadians who are blind, Deafblind or have low vision. Specifically, the Program Coordinator, Come to Work, will take the participants through the intake and orientation process as well as plan and deliver programs.
II. Essential Functions

The position entails, but is not limited to the following general responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team to design and deliver workshops and activities.
Implement strategies to meet provincial service standards and program goals.
Lead the end-to-end intake process including providing orientation to the program and conducting needs assessments to determine participant's job readiness.
Monitor program performance and participant outcome, leveraging data driven feedback to make improvements.
Provide guidance and help participants navigate services and resources that are available.
Promote additional CNIB programs to encourage confidence, independence, and community involvement.
Track services and benchmark program effectiveness in the Client Relations Management (CRM) database and prepare reports as required
Ensure accurate documentation of participant progress and outcomes.
Take part in special projects and events as required.
Other duties as assigned.
III. Qualifications
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, deadlines, and procedures.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Working knowledge of Salesforce is considered an asset.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Client service-oriented with strong interpersonal abilities.
Professional, results-driven, self-motivated, and adaptable.
Demonstrates emotional intelligence and sensitivity when supporting individuals of diverse backgrounds and (dis)abilities including but not limited to blindness.
Knowledge of Come to Work Program offerings and other CNIB Programs are considered an asset.
Be able to work independently.
Fluent in English (written and oral).
Fluency in French (written and oral) is considered an asset.
Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and sight loss is considered an asset.
Personal or professional experience working with assistive technology and/or accessible environments is considered an asset.
Experience and Education
Minimum 1 year of work experience in vocational service or equivalent.
University degree in relevant field.
Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred.
Knowledge and experience working and/or volunteering at a not-for-profit organization considered an asset.
Personal or professional experience relating to blindness is considered an asset.
