Job Description
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Program Assistant to join our team. The Program Assistant will support Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) in delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for children aged 2.5 years to 5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist educators in implementing daily routines and program activities Supervise and engage children in play, both indoors and outdoors Support children with dressing, toileting, and hygiene as needed Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment Foster positive communication with children, families, and team members
Qualifications:
Experience working with young children in a group setting preferred Enthusiastic, patient, and caring personality Ability to work as part of a collaborative team Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification (or willingness to obtain) Vulnerable Sector Check required and valid within the past 6 months Up-to-date immunization record Early Childhood Education diploma or working towards one is an asset, but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $21.97 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
Work Location: In person
