About Our Opportunity
As a Licensing Officer in Licensing Services at the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD), you will be part of a dynamic team whose primary responsibility is to ensure the health, safety, and well being of children while receiving away from home care. You will monitor and support licensed child- care and family home child-care programs to ensure they are compliant with the Early Learning and Child Care Act and Regulations. You will monitor all programs from a strength-based monitoring approach and ensure you culturally respond to the communities we serve. You will also be responsible for fostering ongoing positive, collaborative relationships with all early learning and child-care programs.
Reporting to the Licensing Team Lead, you will be called upon to provide timely advice and recommendations contributing to a coordinated and integrated delivery work model. You will work collaboratively with key partners, stakeholders, and colleagues from EECD to ensure a cohesive approach.
