Professor, Research Methods
The successful candidate will teach and develop curriculum in the program. A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, economics, social sciences, or a related field is required. In addition, the successful candidate will have a Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant field and/or relevant knowledge learned through Indigenous communities, Indigenous knowledge holders, and/or lived experiences. Broad research background or expertise is required, as is an ability to teach a number of different courses offered by the program, encompassing research ethics, research communications, project management, survey design, market research techniques, and qualitative or quantitative research methods. Preference will be given to candidates who have industry experience and engagement, and who have research or teaching experience within Indigenous communities.
In addition to teaching and assessing student progress and achievement, the candidate will develop culturally competent and relevant curriculum, design or revise specific courses, work collaboratively with colleagues, and participate in committees, applied research projects, and other initiatives. Teaching could be assigned at any Humber campus and in the online environment.
