In your role, you will:

Be a recognized Pneumatics System Specialist

• Be an active member and key contributor to Knowledge Domain and BES:
• Be involved in BES Processes to ensure BMs are ready for new product pre-launch
• Ensure lessons learned from past programs are suitably captured
• Validate technical processes & Knowledge Standards to meet Best Practice
• Write and update Engineering practice documents
• Share Industry and Regulatory Development with KD`s

Carry Out Pneumatics Discipline Activities:

• Responsible for Pneumatic systems architecture and functional modeling
• Lead multi-discipline teams to address product definition or issue resolution
• Manage suppliers from a project and technical perspective
• Lead and coordinate A/C and systems level requirements and design solution development through the development and production of DR&O, ARD, TRD, IDD, RMAS, etc. including coordination with other functions to ensure completeness and cohesiveness
• Lead and coordinate technically the V&V efforts
• Ensure adherence to TRL, Maturity & Exit Gate Criteria
• Witness selected testing, inspections, and/or audit as part of oversight on behalf of the Applicant
• Document analysis, ground, and flight test results
• Lead and coordinate the PR investigation and resolution process for issues
• Support programs in Major Manufacturing issues \xe2\x80\x93 Major RNCs, Major Non-Disclosure
• to Programs and CARB
• Work to resolve systemic in-service manufacturing issues affecting continued airworthiness and customer acceptance
• Identify opportunities with Sourcing for program cost savings
• Technical support and multi-disciplinary alignment for Triage, CARB, and AOG issues when necessary
• Work with Management on PCR process, cycle times, optimized solutions

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

• You have a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\'s degree in Engineering.
• You have at least 10 years or more of air systems or pneumatics supplier experience in a specific aerospace engineering field
• You have experience in at least 2 or more development programs
• You are an expert in one or more areas of Pneumatics
• You are highly regarded by the Pneumatics Suppliers
• You possess advanced knowledge in the pneumatics field and breadth of knowledge of many aircraft systems and interfacing disciplines
• You may perform as a regulatory authority delegate in the field of expertise
• You are self-motivated
• You are a recognized team player; you work well in a team environment and create a collaborative relationship with other team members
• You are a dynamic and good communicator
• You possess leadership qualities
• You are comfortable leading large complex projects from a technical perspective.
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office software
• You possess good interpersonal skills as well as good written and oral communication skills
• You are willing to travel for short-term assignments
