The International African Arts, Crafts and Culture Fair (IAACCF) is a registered organization in Canada. IAACCF mandate is to provide a platform for African and Caribbean artists, artisans, craftsmen, cultural practitioners, and entrepreneurs to showcase their work globally.
Role Overview
The Photographer & Videographer plays a key role in capturing the essence, energy, and visual story of the IAACCF. This role supports the organization by producing high-quality photos and videos that highlight artists, cultural performers, exhibitors, guests, and the overall event experience. The visuals created will be used for marketing, social media promotion, sponsorship reports, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Event Photography & Videography
Capture high-quality photos of exhibitors, artists, cultural performers, guests, fashion displays, and activities.
Shoot creative and engaging video content that tells the story of the event.
Record key moments such as opening ceremonies, performances, panel sessions, vendor interactions, and crowd engagement.
Capture behind-the-scenes moments to support future marketing and social media storytelling.
Content Production
Produce short highlight clips during the event (if possible).
Assist with interviews or testimonial recordings with attendees, exhibitors, or partners.
Capture vertical content suitable for Instagram Reels, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Post-Event Support
Curate and edit a selection of the best images and video footage.
Deliver edited files within the agreed timeline.
Organize final files into folders (e.g., exhibitors, performances, crowd shots, venue shots).
Collaboration
Work closely with the Media/Comms Lead to understand the visual needs of IAACCF.
Coordinate with event runners and stage managers to be at key moments on time.
Follow instructions regarding branding, key messaging, and what content needs priority.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in photography or videography (professional or advanced amateur).
Ability to use own camera equipment (DSLR/mirrorless camera, lenses, stabilizers, etc.).
Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and storytelling through visuals.
Editing skills using Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Punctuality, creativity, and professionalism.
Time Commitment
Event Day:
Full-day availability on December 14, 2025.
Post-Event:
Editing and file delivery within 7-14 days (flexible based on agreement).
