Professionally Licensed Hair and Makeup Artist JOB REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must be skilled at creating flattering hairstyles AND applying beautiful makeup that suits our Portrait & Headshot Photography brand. In addition, the applicant should:

• Value professional growth. Be invested in learning new techniques to improve skills.
• Work efficiently; Style hair and makeup within the time provided (usually 1 hour per subject).
• Provide hair and makeup services for 1-3 subjects; this may include multiple look changes.
• Bring a range of hair and makeup tools and products to every shoot.
• Hold yourself to high professional standards.

o Arrive dressed and styled in a professional manner that reflects our glamour image. o Always be punctual. o Refrain from phone use throughout the scheduled time. o Always use well-maintained, sanitized products and tools. o Be professional, kind, and respectful in words and actions.

• Make sure theclient is comfortable and happy throughout thesession.

• Be able to receive critiques graciously either from the client or photographer.

• Support our brand\xe2\x80\x99s mission of empowering women by helping them look and feel beautiful.

AVAILABILITY: Applicants should generally be available on some or all of the following days: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays. You will typically be scheduled from 9-2pm depending on the # of sessions. Some sessions will range between 1-3 subjects with 1-2 looks. On Headshot Mini Marathon days there may be multiple subjects with 1 look (a basic no-makeup makeup looks or if a male is scheduled a quick powdering to reduce shine) Expect to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled session. PAY: Pay is negotiable. If interested in the position, please provide your requested fee. Hair and makeup artists may also be given the option to take on an assistant role throughout the shoot (see description below). PERKS: We make every effort to create a relaxing, fun environment for our clients and our team. We recognize quality work and show our gratitude for a job well done. On long shooting days, we offer catered locally sourced lunches. We are happy to provide you with a high-quality digital image from each session for use in your portfolio. We share the love by tagging you in social media posts and occasionally linking to your brand\xe2\x80\x99s web page in our blog posts. We look forward to getting to know you better! Assistant JOB REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must be skilled at providing services that support our lead photographers and create an incredible experience for our Portrait Photography, Headshots, Graduation, and Maternity/Newborn clients. The applicant may be asked to do some or all of the following tasks: move furniture and set pieces, position reflectors, carry gear, serve beverages and snacks, set table with catered lunch, take behind-the-scenes pictures, direct fan for hair movement, help tidy studio after the shoot, provide a second set of eyes or hands during complicated poses, etc.

PERKS: Our photographer Erin Laye knows their stuff. The assistant role is a great position if you\xe2\x80\x99d like to see behind-the-scenes of a successful portrait business both in-studio and on-location.
