The Job

• Electrical Engineer: working alongside company leadership, your job will be to perform complete electrical engineering services for your projects. This includes providing project management, and mentoring staff that are working with you.
• Perform assessments, design services, and construction supervision of projects.
• There will be some administrative tasks required, which may include things like helping to establish standards, participating in training or business development activities.
• There will be periodic travel to job sites. These are generally in-town, or out of town overnight trips. Ideal applicants must be fit and capable of working on/around construction sites. Applicants who cannot meet these physical requirements are still encouraged to apply.

• Able to write proposals, define scope and fee for projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Knowledge and application of standards:

• Canadian Electrical Code
• National/BC Building Code
• ULC Standards
• National Fire Code

• Professional Engineer registrant, with a Canadian Engineering Association. Eligible for registration in Yukon, BC, Northwest Territories/Nunavut
• 5-10 years experience as a professional engineer, working in a design and construction administration capacity
• Drivers licence
