Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties such as mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas and high-traffic areas
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Adhere to health and safety regulations

Skills:
- Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to complete cleaning duties within designated timeframes
- Cleaning: Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, products, and equipment to ensure a clean and sanitary environment
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers to address cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
- Hand tools: Proficiency in using various hand tools such as brooms, mops, dusters, and scrub brushes for cleaning purposes
- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift heavy objects or equipment as required for cleaning tasks
- Commercial cleaning: Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and procedures in various settings such as offices, schools, or healthcare facilities
- Customer service: Ability to interact professionally with customers while providing friendly and helpful service
- Custodial: Knowledge of custodial duties including floor care, trash removal, and restroom maintenance
- Facilities maintenance: Basic understanding of general facilities maintenance tasks such as light bulb replacement or minor repairs
- Power tools: Familiarity with power tools such as carpet cleaners or floor buffers for more specialized cleaning tasks
