Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and customers. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained. Conduct commercial cleaning of offices, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for cleaning purposes. Handle heavy lifting as needed to move furniture or equipment during cleaning processes. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning needs and facility maintenance issues. Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated schedules. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility occupants. Assist in facilities maintenance tasks as required to support overall cleanliness and functionality.

Experience

Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in cleaning and maintenance is advantageous. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical activities associated with cleaning duties. Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers professionally.
