Job Description

This position is responsible for all phases of transforming raw material in finished products on the Roll Refine line. The Roll Refine Attendant ensures food and employee safety in their daily routine.

Key responsibilities

? Enter recipe data according to production schedule.

? Adjust pre-refiner/refiner according to recipe and customer specifications.

? Adjust conch temperatures according to recipe while monitoring process.

? Add fat, flavours and emulsifiers to conch or tanks according to recipes.

? Pump product from conches to finished tanks according to production schedule.

? Perform SAP and data entries.

? Operate PLC's.

? Perform quality checks.

? Responsible for basic and preventative maintenance. Report improvements needed to Supervisor or maintenance team.

? Responsible for performing all line worker material handling functions.

? Communicates production information to incoming Roll Refine Attendant and explains details to assure a smooth shift transition.

? Communicates on a regular basis with other crew members, Lead Hand and with the Shift Supervisor.

? Track inventory, clean magnets and document CCP.

? Conducts checks for fineness as prescribed.

? Responsible for the cleanliness of production room/Sanitation Schedule.

? Cover for Mixer Attendant as needed.

? Perform and document all HACCP, Quality and Safety checks.

? Other duties as assigned.

? Ensures compliance with all food and employee safety policies and procedures.

About you

? High school diploma.

? Experience in a food manufacturing environment an asset.

? Hoist Operator experience.

? Lift Truck experience and certificate.

? Other:

- Must be able to freely move around entire facility.

- Must be able to lift 55lbs.

- Ability to work in and be exposed to heat, noise and dust.
