Our Organization Prime Health Ltd is a fastest growing NNHP (Natural and Non-prescription Health Product) manufacturing company based in Maple Ridge, BC having presence in North America, Asia, Middle East and Latin American countries. We are passionate in delivering result and customer satisfaction. To boost our growth, we are looking for a Production Worker (Compression Machine Operator) who can contribute in the following activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Machine Setup & Operation Set up and operate the coating machine as per batch requirements. Adjust parameters like spray rate, temperature, and airflow. Load and unload tablets safely. Coating Process Monitoring Ensure uniform coating application and proper adherence. Monitor machine functions and make adjustments as needed. Troubleshoot coating defects (e.g., peeling, cracking, or color variation). Quality Control & Documentation Conduct in-process checks such as weight gain, moisture content, and visual inspection. Maintain batch records and logbooks as per GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations. Cleaning & Maintenance Clean and sanitize coating equipment before and after use. Perform routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues. Ensure work area is clean and organized. Material Handling Prepare coating solutions and ensure proper mixing. Handle raw materials and solvents safely. Dispose of waste as per safety guidelines. Safety & Compliance Follow all workplace safety procedures, including PPE usage. Adhere to cGMP and health regulations. Responsible for the setup and operation of coating machines as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols for handling and disposing of hazardous materials Troubleshoot and communicate abnormal conditions to the Production Manager or Production Supervisor. Monitor machine gauges and equipment operations Determines coated tablets quality by performing visual inspections. Weighs or measures coatings materials before preparing coating solution Prepares coating solution by mixing ingredients according to formulas, using automated mixing equipment. Regulate pan speeds, machine temperature, air pressure, and circulation, adjusting the flow or spray of coating liquids as needed. Conduct visual inspections to ensure uniform coating Responsible for inspection of finished materials. In addition, interacts with QA to provide samples at end of operation according to Coating SOP Maintain accurate records of operational data at specified intervals using work order forms. Apply knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and cost-effective manufacturing techniques to optimize efficiency

Minimum Requirements:

Secondary school education is a must. Require 1 to 2 years experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or a similar industry. Basic knowledge of machine mechanics for maintenance or trouble shooting. Knowledge of GMP principles. Prior manufacturing experience in encapsulation & tableting is a desired asset . The ability to demonstrate safely working in a physically demanding environment where lifting up to 50lbs is a common occurrence. A cooperative, positive and willing attitude all while keeping good communication and behavior with co-workers and management. A keen focus on the little things and an understanding of the importance of attention to detail and accuracy with numbers. You understand that no one thing can be overlooked, and there is no such thing as sacrificing quality. The ability to work well on your own or co-operatively based on the needs of the business.

Salary Range

: CA $18.00 To $22.00 Hourly (will differ based on skills and experience)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (required availability to work in morning or evening shifts based on business requirement).
