Overview

Local taxidermy supply company located in

Dunchurch (Ardbeg), ON

looking for an employee to aid in the manufacturing of urethane foam mannikins for the industry. Previous experience not required, and on-site training will be provided. Must have reliable transportation as the workplace is 30 minutes outside of Parry Sound.

Shift:

Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Pay

: $20-$22/hr (based on experience)

Duties

Assembly of fibreglass molds, requires repetitive use of power drill and clamps Preparation, measuring and manual mixing of liquid foam for pouring into preassembled fibreglass molds Assistance in shipping area with heavy product (loading, unloading, storing) Monitoring stock levels in relevant warehouse areas Shifting between different roles is required for efficient workplace functioning Plywood template cutting with band saw and skill saw

Qualifications

Repetitive pushing, pulling, lifting weights of approximate 50lb molds Comfortable working on fast-paced manufacturing floor Must be comfortable standing for extended periods A respectful, friendly, responsible, and professional demeanor is required as this is a small team of supportive, interactive co-workers Assisting other employees when required Performing work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized assembly station is crucial Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing processes.

Preferred qualifications:

Previous experience with power tools (band saws, skill saws, etc.) is a significant asset Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
