Production Worker

to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our production process and helping bring our unique decor designs to life.

The Role:

The

Production Worker

is responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, and packaging of decor pieces and other manually built product components. This role also includes operating machinery used in fabrication and assembly processes, as well as organizing product layouts to support efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate equipment used in product manufacturing and complete assembly tasks according to instructions, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Ensure efficient operation and assembly of manufacturing equipment by following established procedures, safety protocols, and workplace policies. Perform tasks such as cutting, sanding, painting, wrapping, packaging using hand and power tools, as well as restock materials as needed. Meet all production schedules and deadlines to ensure timely order fulfillment. Review work instructions, procedures, and checklists. Ensure all necessary materials and equipment are prepared and the work area is properly set up for production. Perform routine, repetitive tasks involving physical labor, including operating equipment and using hand and power tools. Conduct visual inspections throughout the production process to ensure all quality specifications and standards are consistently met. Perform general shop duties and additional tasks as assigned. Wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety guidelines. Maintain preventive maintenance routines, uphold safety and quality control processes, and ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met in the work area. Promptly escalate any issues that may affect production to the manager. Ensure all required materials and supplies are available and replenished as needed to support continuous production. Actively participate in problem-solving sessions and continuously contribute to improvement initiatives. Perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and repetitive motions Apply LEAN manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement Operate one or more machines within the assigned work area, ensuring safe and efficient performance Provide daily training and support to team members to ensure skill development and consistent work quality. Stop machines, tools, or processes immediately when safety or operational concerns arise. Perform any other duties as required.
Knowledge & Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent. Proficiency with computers and basic digital tools. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, solutions-oriented environment. Quick learner with adaptability to changing tasks and priorities. Eagerness to learn new skills and pursue continuous improvement. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Excellent work ethic, reliability, and motivation. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects. Capable of performing manual labor with endurance and care. Experience operating hand and power tools. Familiarity with both imperial and metric measurement systems. Comfortable working within health and safety regulations and guidelines. Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment (asset). Experience using vector-based design/editing software (asset). Previous manufacturing experience (asset).
