Production Team Member - OP 2 Corrugated / day shift

WE OFFER

Permanent full-time position Hourly rate: $20.97 Work schedule: Monday to Friday from 7am to 3h30pm (40 hours) 2 weeks vacation 3 personal days Additional days off during the Holidays Group benefits including medical, dental, life and long-term disability Parking on site

YOUR ROLE

According to production needs, the

Production Team Member

performs a variety of tasks to support the operators. This position requires good physical strength, dexterity with the ability to follow proper lifting and bending techniques while building pallets.

Palletize finished product at end of machine Strap/Unitize product Create tags (Amtech) and apply to loads Strip scrap from boxes and foam sheets Bale scrap / Sweep/ Housekeeping/ Keep a clean safe working area Counting inventory Set up production equipment Operate production equipment Complete Quality Reports and other required documentation Perform all other tasks assigned by Supervisor

YOUR PROFILE

High school diploma and experience in a similar role is an asset Must have basic computer skills Experience in a manufacturing or production environment Capacity to read and understand drawings and specifications Proficiency with taking exact measurements with both metric and imperial system Technical capabilities to set up and operate production equipment Ability to support and adapt to pace of machine Exhibit safe work ethics is a must Have a positive, engaged contributor style attitude and communications Quick learner with technical aspects of work and with production equipment Organization skills, detail-oriented and quality-conscious

Other requirements

The position requires you to be physically fit to carry items while bending, walking and standing for an 8-hour shift. At times this is a physically demanding position. Some tasks may require bending, kneeling, reaching.
