Production Worker (manufacturing)

Job Description
We are a small Delta based manufacturing/R&D company providing natural semiochemical science products and plastic traps for the forestry industry. Our team is friendly and hard working. We are seeking a contract position for a warehouse Production Assistant. Full time hours for 3 months with the option for longer term full time or part time employment. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Counting and packaging products
- Manufacturing scientific products with automated machines
- Filling bottles, bags
- Assembly of plastic parts
- Packaging orders for shipping
- Inventory management
- Accurate note keeping on a daily basis
- Other duties as required
- Able to work independently
- Critical thinker
- Proven team player
- Attention to details
- Fluent in English \xe2\x80\x93 written and oral
- Ability to stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks (production line)
- Ability to lift 55 lbs when necessary
- Basic knowledge in chemistry and/or biology
- Transportation of dangerous goods experience
- Good with tools, machines
- Warehouse environment
- Products are often fragrant
- Standard hours are 8am-4pm Mon-Friday, with some flexibility.
Contract length: 3 months Salary: $20.00 per hour Benefits:
