Key Responsibilities

Work on the production line in a variety of roles, including operating and cleaning equipment and production spaces. Weighing ingredients, staging, and blending. Ensure quality output that meets company standards. Monitor product, package appearance and package integrity at pack-off station to ensure product is packaged according to company quality standards. Participate in the receiving of incoming shipments. Complete scheduled and assigned sanitation tasks. Assist co-workers when necessary. Maximize output of packaging machine by minimizing downtime and waste. Ensure machine and floors are free from debris and product. Identify machine issues and ensure they are resolved efficiently. Adhere to Food Safety, Standard Operating Procedures, GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health and Safety policies always. Other reasonable duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.

Qualifications

Completion of high school education or equivalent. 1-3 years of manufacturing experience considered an asset. Experience in food manufacturing preferred. Completed Food Handlers Certification or willing to complete certificate Ability to speak, read, write and basic comprehension of English. Good hand and manual dexterity skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 25 Kg. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
